Message Just don't do it over your keyboard and short it out. I accept no responsibility for that. I DO accept responsibility for THIS:

I'm very pleased. Pissed off that I dropped my rachet on my beautiful balance tube & chipped the paint (not visible in this picture) but aside from that very pleased. Upon initial startup there was a distinct misfire and a vacuum leak.
After much searching I found that the #5 injector was firing only intermittantly. I disconnected it, cleaned it and squeezed some dielectric grease into it and Mr. Z runs like a champ!! Purrs like a happy cat about to pounce on some unsuspecting Supra. ;-)
The vacuum leak remains unexplained. It was there before this whole plenum removal thing and I am unable to locate it. The sound seems to come from the rear of the plenum around the IAA unit. That's the best description I can give, unfortunately. I'd love to have some sort of wand where smoke comes out of the end in a steady stream. That'd be useful for finding leaks (IE, watch where the smoke goes) but alas, I do not have one of those and I just can't FIND THE DAMN thing. (sigh).

Took Mr. Z out to the main road and hit it. WOOOOHOOOOO!!! I haven't boosted in a month! Felt great. Not sure what he got up to because the guage read +1. Boost must have blown a vacuum line off. 10 seconds of looking found the problem. Couldn't find any zip ties, but I located a twist-tie which did the trick (at least temporarily). I'm boosting to 15 in 2nd; didn't have enough chance in 3rd to really punch it but I'm guessing I'll be at 17-18. Need a boost controller, bad. LOL

Anyway, you may begin lavishing praise on me for a job well done now. Also, if you have any suggestions re: this vaccum leak, I'll accept those, as well. 8-)

Humbly,

Yo' Friends,
